Francisco Pujol

President

Francisco has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Puerto Rico, as well as a juris doctor degree (magna cum laude) from the same university.  He has ample legal and general business experience, with emphasis in complex financial matters.  He is admitted to the practice of law in the General Court of Justice of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the First District.  He is licensed in Puerto Rico as a notary public, and is fluent in English and Spanish.

 

Before becoming a lawyer in 1997, Francisco led significant business ventures in Puerto Rico, including, inter alia, major real estate developments, a publicly traded mortgage bank, a publicly traded real estate investment trust, and a securities broker dealer.  He acted as expert witness in dozens of lawsuits in court and in securities arbitrations before the New York Stock Exchange, the National Association of Securities Dealers, and FINRA.

María del Rosario Pujol

Executive Vice President

María has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Williams College, a master in business administration degree from the University of Michigan and a juris doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico.  She is a licensed notary public and is admitted to the practice of law in the General Court of Justice of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.  She is fluent in English and Spanish.  María has extensive experience in legal and business matters, with emphasis in real estate and finance.  Before becoming a lawyer, María worked as an Assistant Treasurer, Capital Finance, in the Chase Manhattan Bank (1989-1993), and as a consultant with Deloitte & Touche (1993).
